Woody

Post by lynn wise »

Just to let you know, we lost our dear boy yesterday at the age of 13. Over winter he had been failing quite rapidly and the last week was traumatic for him and us. Woody had gone weak on his rear end due to age related muscle loss. Quite awful to see him struggling. After much thought and lots of tears there could only be one outcome sadly.
Where did the last 8 years go to, so short a time to have him in our hearts. The house is so quiet without his presence, how could such a small lad make such a big impression.
A boy that we never heard grumble, whimper or growl, such a star. To say he was loved doesn't quite sound enough, he was a wonderful lad and we shall miss his love of everyone and everything.

The day he came to us.

You are in our thoughts
Lynn and David, :cry3:

Les and I are so sorry to hear the very sad news about Woody.......he was such a beautiful boy, and he had a wonderful life with both of you and of course Willow, and that is all we can ever give our faithful friends and in return they give us their unconditional love, and when the rawness of now has passed, we are left with lovely memories.

Dear Lynn & David,

We are so so sorry to hear that you have lost your gorgeous boy. They break our hearts every time don't they....but what a legacy they leave behind. Woody's kindness, devotion, and companionship are the memories you will cherish. Our thoughts are with Willow too, how she will miss him. Give her a big hug from us.

Thinking of you all, Jean, Ray and Ella xxx
