Home Day

Post by lynn wise »

Today is Willows 10 year home day.
Still such a joy but is now showing her age, as we all do. Sorry there isn't a photo, it's still a work in progress with the photobucket caper. Shall put some on when we finally get sorted.
Thankyou Jan for letting us have her.

Hi Jan
At this moment in time all my photobucket pictures still seem to be on the site. They may not have got round to blocking them yet. I suspect (just guessing) that if I try to post another picture from photobucket to this or any other website, that will trigger them to block all mine like they did with yours.
I used imgur.com to show that picture. Its a bit like photobucket,
simpler but somehow more difficult to use
You are able to auto resize the photos when you upload them (try 1024*768 or 800*600). When using imgur, once you have uploaded some photos. move your mouse over you username, from the dropdown box, left click on images. Left click on the chosen picture, the picture will appear in a box with various links, In the box at bottom right called sizes click on huge thumbnail, then left click on the blue copy box at the side of BBCode (message boards & forums) then paste onto retriever website as normal. I hope this helps but not 100 percent sure how to use it myself

Thanks David. I will have to give that a try but sounds so very complicated, I have written it all out and hopefully I will be able to read it tomorrow.
