This article was in our Yorkshire Post yesterday.
A man returned from a meal with his daughter to find his dog had also dined out-on $500. he had left in his car.
Wayne Klinkel said his 12 year old GOLDEN RETRIEVER ate the bills during a visit to the Klinkels' daughter in Denver, Colorado last Christmas. Mr. Klinkel of Montana, has collected fragments from droppings and sent them to the Treasury Dept. in hopes of having them replaced.
Now doesn't that just remind you of the story re. Mr. Ziggs? Ken still has the receipt from his bank, which states eaten by dog.

Sunny our 1st golden ate over £200 of money from our sons deposit for his holiday, luckily most of the notes still had the numbers intact, so took them to the bank and did get most of his money refunded, sunny was in the dog house for a while. I blamed our son for leaving it out. All money is put well out of the since
