Feeding, tummy problems and teeth----

Post by Ellas mum »

We feed Ella on a dry food 'Healthy Options', 1 measure, half in morn, half eve. She doesn't get treats as she puts on weight very easily since being spayed. She isn't good with chews, they give her the runs as does sheep 'muck' and anything else she finds. If it's bad we starve her for 24 hrs then give her plain boiled rice for a day or so, seems to do the trick. We do struggle to keep her teeth clean too. Someone recomended a product called Plaqueoff animal. It's made from seaweed and works in the saliva which breaks down the plaque. We're on our 2nd tub and it seems to be working, it isn't cheap but worth it if it works. If you type Plaqueoff into google search you can get onto the website. Hope this may be of help to someone.........Ella's mum.

Hi Ella's Mum

Haven't heard of Plaqueoff but Frageria from the Health Food shop or If on the Internet Ainsworths supplies. That breaks it down.

Relatively cheap
