HONEY

This is Honey. We think she is about 2 years old. She came to us in October. Abandoned and weighing in at just 15kg. Such a frightened little girl who knew nothing . She had a mammary tumour and was too weak to have any vaccinations or wormers or flea treatment. Gordon & Codi's mum and dad offered to foster her until she was well and this they have done and the road has been rocky sometimes. However she was on 5 meals a day and started to put on weight. She became house trained and learnt to love Codi who she played with and Ben who she bullied.

She was well enough to have the tumour removed in late November and after extensive tests we were relieved to find that it had not gone anywhere else.

Then just before Christmas she came into season so we knew then that everything was working

She is now in her new home and is continuing to gain weight and confidence as she is meeting new people and dogs. She is a little sweetheart and so gentle.

Wonderful news Jan. Honey looks so well now after her terrible experience, shows what a lot of TLC can achieve. Well done to Carol and Bob for giving her the start that she needed so badly.
A truly horrible story, but a wonderfully happy ending. Well done to you, the vets and to Carol and Bob.
:love4  :1951:

Oh, just love all the Goldies on display in the back ground.

It never ceases to amaze me, that after all their needless suffering, and in a loving forever home, these wonderful dogs are made whole again. It does take time, but it does happen.

Have a very happy life Honey.....you deserve it :bighug:

It brings tears to your eyes to think of way she was treated in her young life. Then more tears of joy to see and hear how with a lot of help from so many people., Jan Carol and Bob the new owners, the vets and probably quite a few more, we send you love and thanks. To see her looking so well and happy must give everyone involved so much joy.I just wish you could all get medals, and your rewards are returned to you many times over. Len Celia Emily & Snowy..
