Stag horn chews

A cautionary note about these. Bought 2 for W & W at New Year, thought I was doing them a favour as friends have them for their dogs and Willow thought they were wonderful. Woody snapped a premolar, I can only guess the stag horn was the cause. Trip to the Vets only to be told to leave things as they are unless there is infection starting in the gum. Read on a website that they can cause problems, so now relegated to the not to be used box. Back to the toothpaste and brush, much to the disgust of Woody.

Oh no! That's awful.

Carrots for us as well. They serve a dual purpose for us, they clean his teeth and keep his medication munchies at bay (a bit). I buy them in massive bags now as he has at least two a day along with any other bits of veg he can have, he's particularly partial to cauliflower and broccoli but hates celery.
I hope Woody isn't having any issues due to his snapped tooth. Poor boy.
