Oh dear

Post by lynn wise »

Have just had a couple of weeks away, didn't meet many Goldens but the ones we did see all had a story to tell. Why do people buy these dogs then can't cope, leaving a new mum and dad to bring their dogs back to being a family member. One poor lad had lived in a family with 6 children, mum didn't have time for him and just let him get on with life by himself, no walks or any time for good manner training. A grand lad, but he was so wary of me, unusual in that most dogs will come to make friends. \Fortunately he got a mum and dad that had always had goldens and knew how to deal with him. The breeders have a lot to answer for, letting a puppy go to such an environment. Money I guess!!!! Thankfully, people out there that pick up the pieces and give these dogs a wonderful and loving life.
There, my moan for today :2011:

Fortunately his previous owners realized they had made a mistake and did the right thing for him and he was found a new home. Thank goodness :love4
