Candy update

Candy now weighs in at 34 kilos. The weight is coming off but very slowly. We have now had her 3 months, she is very lively outdoors now but still very subdued in the house. Her favourite pastime is swimming in the lake at our local park but has recently started chasing the swans and ducks. It is such good exercise for her but not very good for the wild life. We have considered attaching a rope to her collar to stop her harassing the ducks but worry that it could snag on any branches below the water. We would then have to wade in to release her, so for now, her swimming has come to a stop. Her recall is super in any other situation, but the ducks win out over us I'm afraid. Swimming is now restricted to the weekends when my hubby is at home to drive us to the sea shore where there are no ducks.
