Thank you all so much for your messages, we so appreciate your good wishes.

Apologies for the size of the picture, I couldnt get the link to copy on photobucket so tried tinypics and up pops this huge photo. Whats in a name, I will try to get it right one day. :thumbleft

We feel so blessed with our two and seeing all these beautiful Retrievers on this website just gladdens the heart. I love them all, just cannot help myself.

I will keep you updated as to her progress and how Poppy is responding, or as we now say, "our girlies".

Best wishes to all, thanks again

Congratulations Jill, on the new addition to your family.
She is lovely, such a beautiful face, and she already looks happy in her new Forever Home.

I'm sure that Poppy in her quiet ways and wisdom will be a settling influence for her.

Happy times to you all, Jean :love4 :love4

Latest pic

We have a nickname for our new arrival as Missy, short for Little Miss but in this photo it could be because she looks so mischievious.

She looks so funny in this one, I will also post one of Poppy soon but she hates having her photo taken and looks all hangdog on them so will have to wait until I get a good one of her.

She is behaving beautifully, coming when called, no accidents and a gentle and loving nature. She is reticent to go into the water for a swim but is dipping her paws in and venturing a little further each time. She is great fun and her and Poppy play with their new toy bunnies together.

I do hope this comes out

I found a nice pic of Poppy with her great love Oliver

Poppy is getting happier, day by day and is eating now, thank goodness.
Time and Missy will help her to get over losing her beloved OllyOll.

Just to say Phoebe, ( Missie) has settled beautifully, eating well, shouting well at the postman and has learned to swim alongside Poppy.

I am a very proud Mum and am loving every minute.
