Sam's day out!

Post by Samsmum »

Last weekend, David and I were going to an event over on the Wirrall. We usually take one of my friends who is a widow, and after the lunch, we go off for the rest of the day.
So, of course, Sam went to his holiday home, next door, to stay with Harold.
He has a good time, as Harold plays in the garden a lot with him, throwing him a ball, and he loves that.
Harolds relatives came back from holiday that day, and in the evening had a birthday celebration, so Harold put Sam in the car and took him with him. It was at the home of Sam's girlfriend who had a sleepover with us some weeks ago, so it was a bonus for him to play in the garden with her.
Isn't he a lucky boy?

He certainly is a lucky boy. Harold AND a girlfriend. :love5
This week we have the plumbers in....new bathroom...so as you can imagine, the house is upside-down. Ella is determined to make friends with them, so she keeps sneaking upstairs with her toys. Every time they come out of the bathroom, they have to step over a pile of her Teddy's.
Luckily, they see the funny side :1960

What wonderful dogs these Goldens are.
Sam with Harold and a girlfriend, OOH and what was that about sleepovers. :2026:
The lovely Ella and her teddies, what a joy they are.
Can't help but think what wonderful homes they now have, lucky boys and girls.

Hello Lynn,
Harold's daughter has a rescue Golden from Jan, and when they wanted to stay away overnight for their daughter's wedding, we had their dog Leila to stay the day and the night. She and Sam, after a bit of initial snatch and grab of toys, got on well. Yes he is lucky to have a girlfriend.
And he is more than lucky to have Harold! And we have peace of mind, which is very important.
Best wishes - Joyce.
