Northumberland @ Easter

As we all have dogs and may want to take them with us... have you any suggestions for holdiay destinations etc that are dog friendly and where you had a great time?

Northumberland @ Easter

Post by Eastonwolfs »

We're back from our Easter break in Northumberland; would recommend it for unspoilt dog friendly beaches and walks etc...BUT the weather...boy it was cold with the wind...we had every kind of weather in one day and everyday...

It wasn't crowded at all even at Easter (not sure if thats because of the weather though).

Amber enjoyed it, but was afraid of the sea, other dogs and Holy Island!!

Some highlights...

I will post the website of the place where we hired the cottage from as they had a lot of dog friendly ones to rent.

Yet again, a lovely album. Girlie looked to be enjoying herself. Wondered how you had got on as it was so awful here, and the Northumbrian coast can be so cold and windy, yet stunning.

Thanks Lynn, we did have awful weather condtions up there, but its such a nice place...you just have to make the best of it...my hubby is from the North East and we have visited before but not with furry friend in tow...

The beaches are the best ever I think...we holidayed in Devon once with our other dog and could hardly find a beach a dog was allowed on...

You will probably recognize the causway, couldn't believe how fast the tide covered it.

ooh, some more nice pictures. Pretty girlie enjoying herself.
The beaches up there are fabulous, and we found that the locals are really nice and friendly. A lovely place to visit.

Loved the film what a super life Amber is having now. Ella looks a happy girl too. A different life to the one she had that's for sure Thanks to two super families.

Lovely picture of Ella on the causeway...we didn't stay long enough to see the tide come in like that. Must be strange living somewhere like that where your life is dictated by the tides.
