Dear Pat and Syd so very very sad at this news, can't imagine how you are both feeling at this latest sad event. As Jean said, we all were aware of how close the 2 oldies were, Jazz must have been bereft loosing her, they were just so lovely together.
Our thoughts and love go out to you both.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and messages of support at this sad time . Golden Retriever people are the salt of the earth.
We will use Lord Byrons epitaph to his dog for Jazz & Candy :

These two possessed beauty without vanity,
Strength without insolence,
Courage without ferocity, and had all the virtues of man without his vices.

Many thanks again.

Dear Syd and Pat.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Goldens. They leave a hole in our hearts. Wherever they are they will be together, happy and free of ailments I'm sure. I have my own Jazz who fishes for stones and I always marvelled at how clever your Jazz was to catch fish.

Love & best wishes at this saddest of times.

Helen, Jazz & Merlin.

Pat and Syd,

I am so sorry to hear about Jazz, I can understand this as he and Candy were so close , and together for so long. I read your post but couldn't get onto the website to reply (we were caravanning and hardly any signal... phone or internet) Sadly, I half know how you feel after losing Ginnie, and thankfully Cobi is young enough for me to distract her with lots of walks etc., first few days and nights in the caravan without Ginnie was awful as she enjoyed this for eleven years, and we still miss her so much. We are thinking about you and send our love..... :love4
