Ice cream is one of the things my two get really excited about, when they get one its a few licks then try to swallow in one go. No chance for me and the wife to get any type of look in, we did try to share one once one for us and one for the dogs, but try giving one dog a lick while the other one waits, not a chance.

aahh the joys of an ice cream. gave one to ours now and again and they neither of them grasped the fact they were supposed to lick it first then eat the cone. milo would take it gently though. unfortunately george being a lab has no such social graces. her eyes bulge with excitement and then she just grabs it. looks like jasper enjoyed his as well. i really enjoyed this photo, thanks for sharing it.

Hi Friends!
I remember some years ago, we had our first Golden called Meg and she was an absolute free spirit. Broke every rule in the book, amd whatever she did, she did quickly.
We were at St. Annes on Sea, and had just lunch, when David said he fancied an ice cream, to be precise, A Magnum, so I went to the counter and got one for him.
He had just taken the wrapper off, when the lolly slipped from his grasp, and Meg caught it before it hit the ground!! Never seen anything disappear so fast. David is always very wary now when he as a Magnum, and makes sure that Sam is not too close!!!

Oh, Joyce, I can just imagine the disappearing magnum. That made me laugh out loud.

I was only watching bentley eating his breakfast this morning and thinking that if gobbling food down was an olympic sport he would win hands down.

He sits staring at it till I give him the ok then all I can hear is choff, choff,choff for 30 seconds and then it's all gone! And that's with a baffler in it to slow him down!
