What a beautiful boy was Toby.So very sorry for your loss it must have been very traumatic for you.You must be comforted to know that he was not alone when it happened though and you made him so obviously happy in his twilight years. He looks so very much loved and cared for.I hope there will be a time when you feel you can maybe get a new companion for Cassie..We have all been through the loss of our companions and i hope it is a comfort to you to have like minded people to talk to.I have found my friends on the forum a great comfort during difficult times also.

My deepest sympathies for your terrible loss. You will always have a piece of Toby in your heart. He was truly a handsome dog. Whilst traumatic for you it sounds like he didn't suffer at all and died whilst doing something he loved and out in the fresh air.
Best wishes.
Helen, Jazz and Merlin.

what an absolutely stunning boy he was. i can imagine you got stopped by a lot of people wanting to give him a love, and by look of him i'm sure he enjoyed the attention. absolutely beautiful. in the following months you will be able to look at these photo's and they will make you smile instead of making you feel sad.
