Hi Jan,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know how my 2 gorgeous bundles are getting along.
Barney will be 6 this month and we got him when he was 7 months old. He is still mischevious but loves his cuddles and blankets and anything else he can get in his mouth !
Layka we got from you last Feb who turned out to be Barneys little sister is a completely different dog..she is loved very much which has turned her life around. She is very intelligent, responsive, understanding and an angel..We have built up trust with her and she has with us..
amazing what patience and love did for that dear little soul. Her & Barney love each other very much and look out for each other at all times. She is 4 in Oct and we hope to have many more happy years with these two.
We thank you for bringing these two joys into our lives.

This is a lovely story. It can take time to build a lasting trust when we adopt a Rescue Golden, as we don't know their history, but when it happens, it's just wonderful, like they've always been with us.

Thank you.. They give us many hours of laughter..a big part of our family.
Funny how Layka has picked up Barneys funny ways..so in a morning we get greeted
with warming smiles and friendly grumbles and a blanket each that they have to walk around the kitchen with !! amusing...
He is a character and very talkative..she has become more talkative.
Layka caused us troubles as first but we had patience and in return have a little treasure on our
hands..Both so different yet so alike.
Lovely to hear others stories too.

Really pleased to hear news of Barney & Layka. I know Layka needed a lot of time, love and patience and it has paid off. I am sure we would all love to see some pictures,

Layka certainly did need alot of time and we have worked a miracle.she has gained
a little weight but is still very petite..very ladylike !!..she is the guard dog..where as Barney would let anyone in !...Couldnt love them more if i tried & that goes for the rest of my family.

They sound lovely, I would love to see pics too. Poppy sometimes brings her blanket if she can't find a shoe quickly enough, but she gets her legs tangled and we have to run to get it off her before she has a disaster.

Aww Julia our two have mastered the art with the blanket..
I am yet again attempting to add some photos..so watch this space x

What super photos of Layka and Barney. He sleeps on her in exactly the same way thet our Woody sleeps on Willow. Nice to see some more Goldens out caravanning. Amazing how they can curl round a small space.

Thanks for the lovely messages..Barney is 6 next week and we have had him
