This was his first studio shoot. I thought he might be nervous but he just settled down like and got on with it. I could almost hear him saying "Make sure you get my best side."

He's the most laid back dog EVER. Tell me again, why was I so worried about owning a dog?

Wow wow and more wow. What a stunning photo of puppy Bentley, simply stunning. Can see that you just might be up for a few more photo shoots Lesley.
So happy for this little lad, he's gorgeous. Bet Auntie Jan will be thrilled with this.
L xx

An after thought on his lovely name...Bentley....A classy motor.
Our 2 would be Ferrari, boy racer Woody, 2 speeds, fast and faster.
Willow, Reliant Robin..small but full of fun. :1949:

Lesley, just have to keep coming back to look at him, oh he is SO GORGEOUS. What stunning young lad he is, reminds me of Timber so much.
This little lad is going to be so handsome when he grows up. :bighug:

What a handsome boy Bentley is :love4

Talking about what car you would call your dog after..... Les used to shout at Ginnie as she dug for England in our back garden, if I'd wanted a digger I would have bought a JCB.....

...rufty tufty Cobi has got to be named after an off roader, no elegant car name for Cobi, another collar in the wash after this mornings walk, head and neck down a bunny hole to see if anyone is at home.

Thanks, everyone for your nice comments.

Thinking about car names for dogs, Bentley does actually suit him as he's very very smooth, comfortable and elegant (we're going to pretend he's not always covered in mud at this point).

Moving away from the car theme: If we hadn't chosen Bentley then we should have called him Beckham because he plays a really good game of football. I have to cheat if I want to get the ball off him.

Are all Goldens as clever, funny and talented as Bentley or is he - as I suspect, the best dog in the entire world? Not that I'm biased in any way. :1966:

Then of course there's the unexpected aded bonus of having lost half a stone in the month since he came to live with us - without even trying! Yay! Everyone's a winner! :1954:

I was having a read through some of the previous posts last night, I've learnt loads and loved reading your stories, thanks.

Lesley, years ago when I was showing our dogs, a friend said " remember, you always take the best one home " never a truer word. Enjoy your boy, he will always be the best. :love6

Utterly stunning... I can imagine walks take an awful long time, making your way through the crowds of people wanting to cuddle the little fella! I notice his paws are big like Harvey's were at that age - he will be a lovely chunky chap! Take lots of photos, the puppy stage seems like such a blur to me and Harvey is not long turned 2! :1964

You're right, he does attract people of al ages, even those who don't stop for a cuddle I can hear saying, "Aaaaww, look at that gorgeous dog" It takes me all my time to wipe the big soppy proud grin off my face.

It did cross my mind that I should send my son out walking with him, with a babe magnet like Bentley next to him I'm sure I'd have him married off and in his own place in no time!! :love5

You're obviously used to all the attention a gorgeous golden attracts if yours looked like Bentley. He does have massive paws and I can't quite believe how fast he's growing. I can almost see him doing it before my very eyes. As you say, lots of pictures.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun with this handsome little chap although I don't think he's going to be little for very long looking at the size of his paws! :bighug:
