kong toys and paste

We have always had Kong toys for our dogs, and bought the spray paste to go in them. Brilliant for keeping dogs happy and quiet if we go out and stop at a doggie friendly pub for something to eat, or need to leave them at home for an hour or so. We haven't been able to buy the cans of spray paste for some months now. Does anybody else use these and have any idea why the supply has stopped, or better still where can I buy some, or a substitute.
I have been using smooth peanut butter for Harvey's Kong and he is happy with that but I would like to find the aerosal can of kong stuffing because it works so easily and presumably is made specially for dogs..
Any suggestions would be welcome.

We used to stuff ours with the small sized Bonio biscs or shapes. An alternative is to buy the large stuffed sterlized marrow bones, 2 jobs in one, keeps their teeth beautiful as well.

You seem to be able to get it at this website:

Not sure why it's out of stock everywhere.. maybe you can't actually get it here either but it's worth a try - good luck!
We are currently in Scotland on holiday with Harvey on a walking holiday only Harvey pulled his shoulder a couple of weeks ago so we're having to take it easy. Nevertheless he's enjoying chasing the sheep on the other side of the fence, plus the occasional trip to the river - every cloud has a silver lining!

I have always used either corned beef or cheese in all manner of shape and sized kongs Cobi and our previous goldens have had.

the kong pastes are still available although they have discontinued some of the flavours. i don't know where you live but if you go to an independant pet shop, even one on your local market they will probably get one in for you.
we buy them in specially for customers so i don't see why others won't.
if not smooth peanut butter is a good choice as a substitute and i have also had customers who use those little jars of sandwich meatpaste too.

I stuff mine with treats and a bit of grated cheese. If you melt it for a few seconds and leave it to cool it makes it harder for the dogs to get out. I also used meat sandwich pastes mixed with treats. You can also freeze then so it makes it harder for them to get the stuff out. I found the kong paste was really expensive and I'm not sure what they put in it.
Hope this helps.
Helen.

thank you for your replies and ideas.
i did try the web site and i think i may be able to order peanut paste.
we used to have a pet shop in the village many years ago but the man who owned it retired and it became something else. Such a shame.
