However I'm home alone
and halfway through a bottle of claret
and playing a CD, UB40's Red Red wine
I glanced up at the drawing I did of "JB" on the kitchen wall, Oh dear........But I thought I would share it with you.

Hello Steve - you are a very talented man to draw like that. It is a beautiful picture and will, I am sure, evoke many memories. JB was a lovely dog, and you captured his thoughtful face perfectly.

what a beautiful picture of your boy steve. like some of our other friends i too wish i could draw like that but unfortunately i can't. Milo would have looked more like a matchstick dog i'm afraid. it is a fitting tribute to a boy who you miss terribly and i know just how you feel. but we are the lucky ones because we have known what it is to love and be loved by a dog in return and oh the memories.............

You are very talented Steve. Its a wonderful memento of a great friend! Red, red wine and claret can be quite good companions sometimes but can make you melancholic too!!!
