get my best side

So a photo shoot I'd been planing for a while came together last night, the light was right, the people were all available and the location was perfect. We all set off to the woods, with the dog as he's part of the team now.

More a part of the team than I'd originally planned. He managed to get himself in quite a few of the shots. These are my favourite doggie ones. What a shame the model is trying to pull his ears off!

And finally, one from the previous day as you're more used to seeing him:

The muddy one cost me 20 buckets of water before I decided that a bath was the only solution. He still looked grubby after it and my back was killing me!

I blame George the whippet who enticed Bentley into the puddle - and then ran off before he even got his toes muddy! Traitor!!!!

What amazing photos! Your daughter looks stunning.

As for Bentley... it looks like he and Sophie are in competition for the muddiest retriever in the north west - they both just seem to love to wallow in the grimiest ditches and puddles possible!

Still, they both clean up remarkably well.

Hope to meet you both on Saturday, hopefully with beautifully turned out dogs, not a hint of mud in sight... ah well I can dream :1949:

I'm really looking forward to saturday, The plan was to keep him clean this week so you can meet him when he's all handsome and gorgeous. That sounds like a good plan, doesn't it? I fell at the first hurdle - or should I say ditch. How does he keep finding new ones? Every time I think I know where they all are he finds a new one. Maybe I'll just give up and give him a bath Saturday morning. :1968

The field right next to the hut and car park where the fun day is held maybe a bit wet and muddy, just to warn you, :1945: but the weather forcast at the moment sounds promising. :2079:

Hey, as long as he arrives clean, that'll do for me!

Actually, come to think of it - do I have the address of the fun day? I'd hate to miss out because I forgot to ask the question till it was too late. Where is it? I'm certain I've had the information from Jan but it's gone now. :2029:

I'm looking forward to meeting you and your goldens. :2035: :2035: :2035:
