I have sinned yet again!!

Hello Folks!
I am afraid I have sinned yet again! Mum and Dad went out to-day, as usual saying "back soon", and I believed them! Well, they must have been at least half-an-hour, so whilst they were out, I went into the hall and there behind the front door was a thick yellow book!! Yes, bright yellow - my favourite colour - very tempting.
I managed to get the plastic wrapper off it, and then I had a beano! I absolutely shredded it!!
When Mum and Dad came home I rushed up to them as usual, big grin on my face and tail wagging!! Well suddenly everything changed and a loud voice said "Who's done this? That's naughty - No, No!!"
Tail stopped wagging and mouth shut I slunk off.
I think all is forgiven now, but I shall have to watch my step!!
Well, my Golden friends, it was very satisfying tearing that big yellow book to shreds, but I wouldn't recommend it!! I think I have gone down in Mum and Dad's estimation, and I feel a bit guilty!
