DOUBLE CELEBRATION

Katie is 10 today , and tomorrow is the first
anniversary of her coming to us from Jan.
Katie likes : Her walks usually Estuary in the morning and Woods in the afternoon.
Feeding time. !! Her toys. Rolling on salt marsh grass when its been tide washed.
Guarding her home. Regular inventories of her toys.
People.
Katie does not like : Toys being put back in the box.(She takes them all out again
Cats, Grey squirrels , Wood pidgeons. Not keen on other dogs unless she really knows them.
Finest hour was riding the tidal bore on a spring tide here at Arnside.

Happy Birthday Katie, also happy home day.
Lovely to see her enjoying the estuary, what a lucky girl to go there every day.
We were there on May Day, looked for you Katie.

Happy birthday Katie.
We had a Katie who was a very special girl and lived to the ripe old age of nearly 16
So many more happy birthdays to come Katie
Vicki, John, Flossie, Dora, Giggles, Frenchie and Thomas (sorry Katie he is a cat!)

for a moment I thought I was looking at dear old Jazz in the water. He has been teaching her all about it. She looks very serene and happy in the first picture.

happy forever home day and happy birthday katie. i can't believe it has been a year for you in your new home. i remember reading the post to say you had adopted your new family. i also remember reading the tidal bore incident.... looking at the photo's you still have it in you. good for you that's what i say. as for the toys being put away..... how dare they? tell 'em if you wanted them put away you wouldn't get them out in the first place.
