The Cheese stall

This morning we had a jaunt up to Northallerton and Thirsk, a lovely day out.
On the market in Northallerton, one of the stalls sells cheese, will the dogs walk past, no chance.

Also, Willow got a new Teddy from the Sue Ryder shop which she carried all around town, much to the amusement of passers by. A lady came to say "hello" and commented on how everyone was smiling, not bad for a grey day. Amazing the pleasure these dogs give to passers by.

No wonder everyone was smiling at them. They were transfixed on the cheese. Super pictures again Lynn :love4

You can just imagine the conversation between the two of them:

"Stall holder's got the cheese, it's for us - Mum's got the cheese - it's for us. Oh Mum has eaten it , look look stallholders got more cheese ok look hungry"

I wonder Lyn did they get any?

Lovely photos and it is wonderful how anywhere goldens go there are always smiles
even in darkest remotest France when we go for a walk and Flossie is carrying my glove there are smiles and waves from the farmers!

Regards

Vicki

Yes, they got the cheese and plenty of it.
The man that owns the stall is really nice, always ready with the tit bits. He told us that he has a customer on a friday with a black lab. The owner sets off up the market and the dog goes on his own to the stall and waits for dad catching up. The dog just sits on the pavement looking up, if the man is serving, the dog woofs to let him know he's there. A local celebrity dog.
There were so many people stopped us to say they had a Golden, or their friend had one. It was one long patting session for our 2.
Only blip, a lady was walking by the cheese stall when the man threw a piece of cheese to Woody, up went Woody to catch, the woman glared and said" good grief" with a face like she'd chewed a wasp. Needless to say, she got the Lynn evil eye. Too miserable to breathe some folk!! :2011:

Hi lynn

her favourite cartoon Wallace and Gromit or was she the lady out of the
101 Dalmatians. some folk are so unhappy because they don't have a golden
in their life and they are missing out on so much
