The birthday sausage

It's been a busy old week for birthdays. First it was my sister in law, two days later it was my granddaughter's but now it's the most important one of all. Mr B's!!
Happy 4th birthday, Bentley! You'll notice that he's not looking at all chuffed. The look he's giving Bob is most definitely, 'Stop chuffing about and give me the flipping' sausage!'
Five seconds later he got the whole sausage, a special birthday treat. Normally a sausage is a whole days worth of treats. Five seconds later it was nothing but a memory.
Bentley licked his chops, belched and lay down for a good old birthday nap.
Happy birthday, lovely boy!!

Les and I know this 'look' so well... Cobi has been giving us 'the look' for exactly 10 and half years today, it can mean a variety of things, as you know.... some of which are unrepeatable, (with little eyes and ears present)

I couldn't find fork 'andles, Lynn. Besides which, that would have slowed the sausage scoffing down far too much, he'd have died of frustration in the time it took to remove four of 'em! he nearly took Bob's hand off as it was.
He went for his afternoon swim as normal even though the sea was a bit rough today so we paddled (yep, I did mean 'we') paddled rather than swam today. Then it was home for cuddles, tuggy wars and a nice nap.
Thanks for all your kind wishes, everyone.
