What is it about Golden Retrievers?

Over the years, living with me, have been an Alsatian a Collie a Corgi a West Highland Terrier and three Afghans! but none quite managed to come close to initiate the affection that a Golden creates. Strangers passing in the street, smile when they see a Golden and I don`t feel daft when Simon gets a birthday cake with seven candles, or I make a slideshow with music that says how I feel, so.......................What is it about Golden Retrievers?

Lovely film, Simon looks very noble and very wise...I loved the pictures with the birthday cake...they look so patient...and spoiled!
