Having seen the posts regarding the 2 Goldens that were mentioned by a lady whos' marriage had recently broken down, it made me question the rights and wrongs of doing something like that on the open site.
Whilst we were all VERY concerned both for the lady and her 2 dogs, this really wasn't the appropriate way to deal with the problem.
We must all remember that Jan is the one to whom all enquiries should be made, and directed to. The open forum is just too open for such matters and should be dealt with privately.
Hopefully, this situation shouldn't arise again.

Thank you Lynn. My sentiments exactly. We will never know if someone contacted her after seeing it on the site and could have told her anything and she let them go. Distressed people need help and support in their decision not someone seeing what they fancy as if it was a shop.
It will not happen again.
