On occassions, she is a proper little madam when it comes to listening. Off she goes at a tangent, intent on finding treasure. Usually then she will end up with a poorly tum. Thinking cap on, how do we stop her. Off she goes, mum shouts Willow, no response, Willow again, still no good. BISCUIT....quick U turn and back with a grin. That girl, tummy rules her brain.

Re: A new word
I don't know why some people refer to animals as being dumb... just proves it with Willow.... clever girl
Our two know that word and it has been used to get them in many times when the snout is ruling the brain. I also use the noise from a lock and lock storage boxe to get them in quickly !! (their complete food is stored in a large one) You have to be as devious as they are
A friend (who has had many goldens from Jan over the years) put us in touch with Jan in 2000, one of their rescue goldens was called 'Biscuit', when we all met up caravanning it was so confusing for Ceili, Jasmine and Abigail, they couldn't understand why they didn't get one every time the word 'Biscuit' was used

Biscuits... used to be the magic word for Ella too, but recently she has taken a liking to most things 'salad' and some raw vegetables, so now when she gets 'cloth ears', we just shout....CARROTS!!!

Molly's Maid
Re: A new word
When Molly first came home I wasgenuinely concerned about her hearing. Then I learned she can hear a crisps packet at 500 yard on the open beach and my fears were calmed.
Since then her vocabulary tensds to focus best on "Tea time". Can't imagine why.
