Just a thought, maybe to late for this year, but what about a general knowledge quiz, say 20 questions on a sheet of paper, each entry £1 the one with the most correct answers wins a prize , incase of a tie, a draw with the winners takes place. Maybe an idea for next year.

Last year at my son's in the small village they had a competition to raise funds for the Church which consisted of a list of about 40 sets of names you just had the first letter of each word and then a number of dots to represent the words

Like P.....& S... that's an easy one.I have put the master copy in a very safe place so might never find it again but we can always think up some more.


I enjoyed doing that one It kept me quiet for hours.
