Today we sold one of our cars. The gentleman that bought it was a member of the GSD Rescue. What an interesting talk about rescue. On average they deal with a dog every day, what a sad reflection on society. John had just collected a rehome from the Manchester area, he was saying what a lovely bitch, kind and easy going. The owner devastated to have to rehome her, oh dear, how sad.
John himself takes the oldies home and lets them live out their lives with him, having lost 3 last year. John told me that he's got a thing for the long coated ones, each time he collects a new dog he prays it doesn't have a long coat, otherwise another for his home comforts.
What a wonderful thing all these people do, including our own Jan, rehoming all these dogs. My hat goes off to them all.
