Lynn and Dave glad you got back of, was nice to see you both again, and of course all the other people we met , it was nice to put faces to names, everyone we spoke to were true golden lovers. To see so many well cared for and loved goldens all in one place was a special sight. Jan you must be so proud of the work you and all the people who help you do, and the turnout today shows how much, we appreciate what you do. Sorry we couldn't speak to you all, hopefully next year we will have more time to chat to everyone. Also sorry we didn't get chance to say goodbye to a few of you, especially Jan, Lynn and Dave. I have never known my dogs to be so quite, they have both been shattered. It was a special day for them even more than ours .Thanks once again from Emily Snowy Lenny and Celia :love4

Just thinking seeing all the goldens yesterday what a gathering of them could be called, maybe a smile :thumbleft of goldens, or a happiness :1951: of goldens. Im sure others can think of better ones.

I know they have a pride of lions, but a pride of Goldens seems apt. All the wonderfully proud mums and dads with their boys and girls.

How about a Golden Glow?
What a great day yesterday. It was lovely to meet so many super people, and also to be able to put faces to some of the names.
I would like to thank Margaret, of Margaret and John, friends of Jan's, who kindly carried round the prizes for my Name the Dog Competition. She was a great help, and we sold all the names in record time. I had hoped that Lenny would introduce himself to me, but when I asked Lynn, he had gone.Where were you Lenny, when I was selling the names?
I was so pleased that Harold, Sam's friend next door, who he stays with when we go away, was able to come with his daughter Carroll and her rescue Golden Leia, and his granddaughter Claire. They all enjoyed themselves, and donated the prizes they won on the Raffle and the Tombola, to put in my next Table Top Sale.
I do hope Jan has made a record sum this year - the weather was a great help - and that she goes from strength to strength. Jan, we and our beautiful dogs all love you to bits and we can't thank you enough for the pleasure and happiness you have brought us through our Golden companions.

Very sorry Sam's mum, we had to go early as snowy was bleeding from his stitches near his groin, due to an operation he had on tuesday. We rang the vet from the field, he was at the surgery till 4pm, so we made a quick exit. we did panic a little but it had stopped before we got him there. the vet said he was ok just to not walk him for a few days.We had asked if it was ok to take him and he said just to make sure he didn't do to much.So we didn't enter the dogs names competition, or get any calendars, or said our goodbyes to almost everyone we didn't even get to enter all the events we had entered the dogs in for. So once again Im sorry for the fact we couldn't stay as long as we wanted to,and didn't get to meet you I will make a promise you will be the first one I seek out at next years fun day. Snowy is fine, has not bled since, but trying to keep him calm is almost impossible at times.

I really enjoyed fun day this year, maybe the nice weather had something to do with it.
The apples and beans that were donated were very tasty.
A few of the camcorder clips I took have been made into a short film with the addition of some music.
Hope you enjoy it
