Hello everybody!
June is here, and I am wondering if it is now the time for Summer. I have today "cast a clout" now that May is out, and all my Summer clothes have been brought to the front. We can but hope!
Now looking forward to more weekends away, more BBQ's, good walks with Sam, at home and by the sea - he will be doing the swimming - not me!! He always manages to evade the bath sheet which we hold up for him to shake into, and David and I always end up as wet as he is!
Hope you all have a lovely Summer with lots of sunshine and leisure time to enjoy with your beloved Goldens.
Best wishes - Samsmum (Joyce).

Re: June is here!
Hello Joyce, I do hope that summer is coming because May has been a washout here. Today 14years ago we brought home Katie my golden girl we lost her in January and life has changed drastically. Life is just not the same at all but as I was reading your post I thought of all the lovely times we had at our static caravan and before that our tourer. I can remember Katie first holiday to Crieff in Perthshire she did a few wees in the awning, we didn't have the breathable ground sheet at that time. It was quite funny,at least she made it out of the caravan. Then was her first paddle/swim in the river. Even in the park she would run off the football pitch onto rough grass as she was quite particular where she went, she made us laugh but she was such a clever girl. I don't know if we will have another dog yet.I'm hoping for a sign from Katie somehow, sometimes I just don't know. I suppose we are still coming to terms of losing her as we had her all her life. I'd better go now as ive set myself off again thinking about her.

Hello Audrey,
Yes we all have lovely memories of our dogs, but in time the memories stay precious, but we find we have enough love surfacing for us to give a home to another dog.
I am sure that in time you will feel you want another beautiful Golden to cherish. Do hope so.
All Good Wishes - Joyce.
