It's been a couple of lovely days for the dogs. The snow was really dry and powdery at first, then with the cold temperatures it quickly froze. It must be the first time in a month that we have been dry and clean. The downside is that once the paths and roads were used, it became quite hairy getting about, slip slidey. Thankfully, it didn't worry furry feet and good boots, we've had a lovely time in the snow.
The photo of Willow looking frosted, I took whilst it was snowing heavily, thought she looked lovely with her coating of snow.
Must say, I do feel so sorry for the people that have to travel in this weather. I go into a serious decline at the very mention of snow. Walking I can cope with, but get into a car, NO CHANCE.
Only a slight skittering of snow on our walk, BUT the pavement outside our house was lethal and I have a terrible fear of 'going down' and breaking my ankle again, got some 'spikey things' from QVC that go over your shoes and boots.
This was our two little madams this morning... Ginnie had a coat on for the first time.. no problems with Ginnie rolling....she only eats 'horrid things' Cobi not only eats it but rolls in it as well. Cobi was on the receiving end of a battering this morning... which makes a change, she usually dishes it out.
these photos are delightful. My son Jason is 13 and is looking forward to when we have our own dog again!!!
We're hoping to get one from Jan in the new year. Ours died over 5 years ago now, sadly but we have a 13 year old fit cat who was used to our 3 year old dog (he was a big white haired golden) but remember our cat used to be the boss!! Apart from in the garden when Robbie saw his chance for a play fight, but Murphy our cat used to scamper over to a wall. A case of cat sitting on the top of a wall looking down at Robbie saying 'Na-na-na-na- you can't get me now!'
Just lovely, bet Woody thinks he has gone to Heaven, all the wonderful activities he has now instead of being on his own all the time. He looks a very happy young man not to forget beautiful Willow as well. I just love your hat Lynne, let me know where you got it seriously
