In the wars

Post by lynn wise »

So many of our pals have been in the wars of late. Our Woody amongst them.
4 weeks ago, himself had to go into hospital for a lump removing from his neck. I maintain it was caused by Willow at playtime, nipping him whilst having their crazy time. The incision was in such an awkward place, no collar, no dressing, and perfectly placed for scratting.
Woody doesn't like anything out of the ordinary, he goes frantic trying to rid himself of the offending item.
Came away from the vets with, "don't let him scratch at it, but if he does bring him in for foot bandaging". Weren't they onto a sure thing !!! No sooner said than done. :3513:
After a couple of trial runs, found the perfect solution...a clean flannel, trainer sock, ankle sock and micro pore tape. Worked an absolute treat. Whipped it off to go out, cleaned and dried the foot when we returned, then back on with the sock combo'. All put in the washer everyday and clean replacements, and guess what? all for free. :1942:

Just going down to try that combination with 'madam'.... the fur is growing and annoying her more ....Ginnies recent abscess in the base of the ear was probably due to Cobi, (the vet said) I'm not at all surprised if you saw what they 'do' to each other !!!!! Off for the check up today !!!

I'm glad that Woody is coming along OK now..... little madam Willow... just like Cobi....

the last few weeks you'd have thought I was auditioning for the 'Vicar of Dibley' no, no, no, no, no, no ...... is all you hear in our house when Cobi 'thinks' she is going to play with Ginnie.
